Auricular Acupuncture Detoxification (Acudetox)

Auricular Acupuncture Detoxification (Acudetox) is a simplified acupuncture protocol that was developed to assist in the recovery from addictions of any kind including drugs, nicotine, alcohol, and even food. Acudetox has been researched and demonstrated to reduce cravings, improve mood, reduce stress, improve sleep, and reduce anxiety and depression by releasing certain neurotransmitters in the body. The technique utilizes acupuncture needles on 5 standardized points in each ear. Treatments can be done individually or in groups and can last from 20 minutes to an hour. Sessions can be done two to three times a week or as needed.
